Logging In Does Not Mean a Document Is Ready for Court Use

Portal access and document acceptance are separate issues. A successful Dubai Courts login only gives you access to the relevant digital services; it does not automatically make an uploaded document legally acceptable.

This is particularly important for documents issued outside the UAE. Dubai Courts states that foreign-issued documents submitted for court purposes must generally complete the applicable certification chain and, where they are not in Arabic, be accompanied by a legal Arabic translation approved in accordance with UAE requirements.

Dubai Courts operates the local court system of the Emirate of Dubai. The UAE Ministry of Justice, by contrast, provides digital access to services connected with the federal judicial system.
